Abby Steketee is a writer based in Blacksburg, Virginia. She holds a PhD in Behavioral and Community Health from Virginia Tech, a master's degree in public health from West Virginia University, and a bachelor's degree in human development and psychological services from Northwestern University. Abby spent 15 years as a Division I collegiate swim coach, including stints as head coach of the women's swimming and diving programs at Northwestern and the University of Nevada, Reno.
