我在西北太平洋地区长大，妈妈会开玩笑说我的体型像一颗黄豆。虽然奇怪，但也无所谓了。在为徒步旅行者取名字的时候，我很容易就做出了选择。

我爱越野跑。我热爱这个社区。我有幸拥有一些非常奇妙的经历，在亚利桑那小径和阿巴拉契亚小径上创造记录，在意大利、法国、爱尔兰和西海岸等不可思议的地方参加比赛，指导出色的运动员，与我的妻子凯蒂一起冒险。我是耐力教练、运动员、狗爸爸和背包旅行向导。真的，生活不仅仅是路面和成绩。
