Ticks, Alpha-Gal, and Why Every Hunter Needs Permethrin
That perfect turkey morning can turn fast when you realize something's crawling on you. KJ sits down with Travis Avery from Sawyer Products and Colton Cozza of Gunpowder Inc. to break down why tick populations have tripled in the last 14 years, what alpha-gal syndrome actually is, and why hunters should be paying close attention, and how an $18 bottle of permethrin can treat five full outfits and potentially save you from a lifelong red meat allergy.
They also walk through exactly how to apply it — what fabrics work, what doesn't, and why walking through wet grass won't wash it out.
