Rock Gap Magic – Fox’s AT Thru Hike – Day 10
Good day today from Carter Gap to Rock Gap shelter. The morning started out moody and then the skies cleared and the views were amazing!
So many notables today
I crossed 100 miles! Funny thing, I always thought from pictures it was a bridge. Turns out it is a tower, after a ton of stairs and a hard climb. But it felt great to cross the milestone and I was rewarded with sunny skies.

In high school I would get home, throw my bag in the door, and head into the woods until dinner or nightfall.
