国家地理年度探险家希瑟-安德森（Heather Anderson）是唯一一位三次分别完成阿巴拉契亚山、太平洋山脊和大陆分水岭国家风景步道的女性。其中包括她在 2018 年完成的历史性日历年三冠王徒步旅行，当时她在一个 3 月至 11 月的季节里徒步旅行了所有这三条步道，成为第一位做到这一点的女性。作为一名专业演讲者，希瑟经常讲述她的冒险经历和在步道上获得的经验教训。她著有《口渴：离家2600英里》（Thirst: 2600 Miles to Home）（2019年），记录了她在太平洋山脊步道上最快的已知时间，以及《泥泞、岩石、烈焰》（Mud, Rocks, Blazes：放飞阿巴拉契亚步道》（2021 年）讲述了她在 2015 年阿巴拉契亚步道上的 FKT。
