Trail Name:

Humberto Costa is a prominent Brazilian bushcraft and survival instructor with over 20 years of experience. As a veteran of the Brazilian Army infantry, he has trained military and civilian units in extreme survival techniques.  He has explored Brazil's biomes and is the author of "Bushcraft—Skills in Nature". In 2012, he founded the Costa Bushcraft & Survival school, offering courses in various Brazilian biomes, including the Atlantic Forest and the Amazon Jungle. He organizes the HUPUR Bushcraft Festival, the largest event of its kind in Latin America, which has received the Guerreiros Outdoor Award for three consecutive years (2022, 2023, and 2024) for its significant contribution to the outdoor community.
